Scott Kover, NCMT, RYT200 resides in Baltimore City, Maryland and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. In addition, he has been practicing Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga since 2001. Through the combination of yoga practice/instruction and massage training, he has amassed an great knowledge of human anatomy and physiology which has a direct affect on his practices of Massage Therapy and Yoga.

In 2004, he completed a 637 hour massage training program at the Baltimore School of Massage. In early 2005, he became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist through the NCBTMB and received his Maryland State License. That same month, he became affiliated with the American Massage Therapy Association.

In 2002, he completed a Beginners Instructor's Course at the Yoga Center of Columbia where until recently he taught several classes per week. That lead him to his next training in yoga. In 2003 he completed a a 200 hour program which qualified him for a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification and brought his training up to teach Intermediate/Advanced yoga.

In March, 2004, he attended a workshop with Roger Cole. In this workshop, he learned much about the anatomy of yoga and how to incorporate the makeup of the body in yoga. He brings many of these lessons learned both into my personal practice and my teaching.

He is in the process of developing a Yoga Class in the Northeast Baltimore City area which he hopes to begin in the near future. If you have any interest in joining a class in that area, please contact him.

He currently practices Massage Therapy, Reiki, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Hara Line & Grid Repair, Integrative Reflexology, Ear Candling and Private Yoga Instruction at his private practice at the earthwalk Center for Wholeness

He offers personal one-on-one sessions to meet your specific needs. These sessions can be held at your home or at his office. If you have a desire to begin or deepen a yoga practice that is personalized for you, let him know!

You do not need to be flexible, have great strength or great balance to practice yoga. It does, however increase your abilities in all of those areas in addition to helping you to become aware of your body, and correct what years of bad habits may have done to you. Pranayama (the practice of controlling the breath) is also a very important part of yoga. Through a practice of Pranayama, you will build your cardiovascular health and make your body much stronger.
